2 Tim 3:15 says “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
We at Berean Baptist Church believe that God wants us to raise our children after the principles found in the Holy Scriptures. We strive to offer exciting and educational classes for our children, so that they may discover the truths in the Bible and “be made wise unto salvation”.

- B.L.O.C. Club – B.L.O.C. stands for Building Lives On Christ, and is our scripture memory club for children ages 5-12. It is held during Sunday School time. The purpose is to help parents raise their children “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” by giving the kids a structured means to memorize scripture, have age appropriate, consistent devotion time, and teach them responsibility. They score points for every thing from attendance, bringing a Bible and visitors, good behavior in class, scripture memory, and having daily devotions. Each week, we meet and have a Biblical lesson to reinforce the daily devotions, sing, and play some games to encourage good sportsmanship. Children are rewarded at the different score levels and at the end of each year for their hard work, based upon their points total.
