Latest Update 04/2012

January – April 2012

Dear Supporting Churches and Praying Friends:

“Praise God from whom all blessings flow”.

Jan.8 – I was with Pastor Leland Johnson at Berean Baptist in Shelby, NC. There were several decisions made in response to the messages. Pastor Johnson is a dear friend for many years.

Jan.15- I was with Pastor Sinclair Rowe at Bible Baptist Church in Hopewell, VA. Two young men came forward for salvation and were saved. Pastor Rowe is a dear friend.

Feb.14- Praise the Lord my 80th birthday. My children and my brothers gave me a surprise birthday party. It was more of a shock, because I wasn’t expecting it. What a great blessing to know their love and appreciation for this “old boy” I’ve passed the promise Psalms90:10”threescore years and ten”.

“Thank you dear Lord”.

March 25th- I was with Pastor Steve Mayo and the dear folk at New Covenant Baptist Church in Newport News, VA. Pastor Mayo is one of the men saved as a result of the Emmaus Road Baptist Church where I pastored for nineteen years.

March29th – April 1st – What a blessing to be with the Bethel Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC where Pastor Clark and the church had their 20th Anniversary. It was a great blessing to see the hand of God on this ministry. I had the joy of helping them in the beginning.

April12th- I had the joy and privilege of speaking at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Portsmouth, VA. It was the occasion of the Awana’s. I spoke to several children and their parents. The guest speaker was my friend “Cef”. The children were fascinated and their parents. They had never seen a real ventriloquist doll before.

April 15-20 with my dear friend and Pastor Leon Lucas. It was a special blessing to be with these precious folk at Bethel Baptist in Wilson, NC again.

I stayed at the Microtel Hotel. I had the joy of leading the desk clerk to the Lord. I found out later that he owned the motel and he gave testimony to all the employees. He told them that I always had a room reserved for me anytime I came back to Wilson, NC and I had better come back. The room would be free of charge. “It pays to serve Jesus. Thank you for all you do in helping us to reach Black Americans, my kinsman according to the flesh Romans 9:3.

April29th- May4- I‘ll be with Pastor William Green in Quincy, FL.
